Transpoint – Public Wayshowing System

The Transpoint system aims to encourage the use of more sustainable modes of transport by improving public wayfinding. Dynamic signs enhance overall wayfinding experience and increase comfort by providing transit users with directional and real-time information. In response to Melbourne’s new future train network, a new map was designed along with a consistent graphic language. Transpoint also addresses challenges regarding wayfinding in underground stations and promotes active forms of transport such as walking and cycling.
